Using an Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system, the laser hair removal procedure works by directing bursts of light at the hair follicles to destroy them and, in effect, inhibit any re-growth. It is a relatively painless procedure that lasts anywhere from 10 minutes to one hour, depending on the size of the treatment area.

Prior to the treatment, a trained technician will apply a topical anesthetic to any sensitive areas, as well as provide you with protective eyewear. She will then use a small hand piece to touch your skin with flashes of IPL. Most areas require six to nine treatments for optimal results.
