How Does FemTouch™ Work?

The FemTouch™ procedure is conducted by an MD or an RN. A probe is inserted into the vagina so that the radiofrequency energy can trigger the production of collagen and stimulate new growth of vaginal tissue.

The procedure is safe and completed in just a few minutes. Our patients report feeling some heat and vibration and compare the experience as being similar to a vaginal exam. If needed we can apply topical lidocaine to maximize comfort, but FemTouch™ is not a painful procedure and discomfort is minimal.

There is no downtime needed to recover from the treatment. You can return to your normal routine immediately after the procedure. It’s recommended to avoid any heat exposure, such as a sauna, hot bath or shower for 24 hours, and we further recommend that you delay sex or strenuous activity for 72 hours.
