How Does truSculpt™ Work?

truSculpt™ ses radiofrequency (RF) energy to heat and destroy fat cells. The treatment is safe and comfortable, as the truSculpt™ machine targets fat cells without causing damage to the surrounding tissue.

What is truSculpt™ flex?

truSculpt™ flex is a newer version of the truSculpt™ system that is designed to tone and strengthen muscles in addition to reducing fat. It uses a unique Multi-Directional Stimulation (MDS) technology to deliver electrical signals to the targeted muscles, causing them to contract and relax in a way that mimics natural exercise. How are truSculpt™ and truSculpt™ flex Treatments Performed?

All truSculpt™ treatments are administered using hands-free applicators. Before treatment, our staff will place the appropriate truSculpt™ applicators on your desired treatment areas as you sit or lay down comfortably. The size and shape of the applicators will vary depending on the treatment area and whether you’re receiving a standard truSculpt™ treatment or the truSculpt™ flex treatment. Then, the truSculpt™ system will be activated and energy will be delivered to the treatment areas through the applicators. Patients receiving truSculpt™ treatments may feel a gentle warming sensation during this time, but it is not uncomfortable. Patients receiving truSculpt™ flex treatments will feel their muscles contracting, as if they were performing exercise. The length of these treatments can range from 15 minutes to one hour depending on the treatment area and the exact treatment being performed.

Is There Any Downtime After Cutera® truSculpt™ or truSculpt™ flex?

No! These treatments require minimal, if any, downtime, and are able to return to their normal activities immediately following the procedure. This includes exercise.

What Results Can I Expect from Cutera® truSculpt™ and truSculpt™ flex?

While the treatments begin to work immediately, it can take several weeks for the body to produce visible changes from your truSculpt™ treatments. Most patients notice full results within 2-3 months of treatment.
