What is Revanesse® Versa™?
Revanesse® Versa™ is a dermal filler specifically designed to treat wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. These are commonly referred to as nasolabial folds, also known as laugh lines. Revanesse® Versa™ is a hyaluronic acid filler, which means that it seamlessly integrates with the skin for smooth and natural-looking results.
How Does Revanesse® Versa™ Work?
Revanesse® Versa™ works by injecting a gel-like formula into the skin. This replaces volume loss that has occurred due to the natural aging process. Upon injection, the Revanesse® Versa™ formula fills in wrinkles and folds as it naturally bonds to the skin. This means that results are visible immediately upon injection as it smooths out nasolabial folds!
How is Revanesse® Versa™ Administered?
Revanesse® Versa™ treatments are administered via injection in quick, 30-minute treatment sessions. Prior to injection, we can apply a topical anesthetic to numb the skin and minimize discomfort during the injection process. The injections will be placed in the areas surrounding the nose and mouth. The exact location and number of these injections will depend on your treatment goals.
What Results Can I Expect from Revanesse® Versa™?
Revanesse® Versa™ produces results immediately, and you’ll experience diminished facial wrinkles and folds before leaving your appointment. However, you may experience some minor bruising or swelling in the treatment area, which can last for a few days. As these brief side effects fade, you’ll notice the full results of your treatment. Patients can generally expect these results to last for up to 12 months.

Is There Downtime After Revanesse® Versa™?
There is no downtime or recovery period required after Revanesse® Versa™ injections. In fact, clinical trials revealed that patients who received Revanesse® Versa™ injections experienced less swelling than patients who received other dermal fillers for the treatment of nasolabial folds. It is common to experience minor swelling and bruising due to the injection process, but these typically fade within a few days and do not interfere with your ability to return to normal activities.
