What is the Hair Restoration Treatment Like?
Hair restoration with Scarlet® RF is a minimally-invasive procedure. The applicator is applied directly to the scalp, where it makes small wounds in the skin and delivers radiofrequency energy to stimulate the growth of collagen, elastin and hair follicles. The treatment is performed in-office in less than one hour. Based on your unique needs, we’ll develop a treatment plan for you that may include multiple Scarlet® RF treatment sessions spread across several weeks or months. While following this treatment plan, you’ll also use the AnteAGE® MD Home Hair System to further stimulate hair growth at home. This involves the regular application of various products to promote hair growth.
Is There Any Downtime After Hair Restoration?
The combination of Scarlet® RF microneedling and AnteAGE® MD Home Hair System is a preferred treatment solution for hair loss because it requires little to no downtime. The in-office Scarlet® RF treatments require little to no downtime, with the exception that the skin will be sensitive and patients will need to use proper sun protection immediately following treatment. The AnteAGE® MD Home Hair System is a gentle hair restoration process that requires no downtime and can be used comfortably on a regular basis.
