The answer to this question is individual to each and every patient. How effective your hair removal treatments will be can vary depending on the color of your hair, how thick your hair is, and the size of your treatment areas. That being said, Dr. McRae and her team generally recommend a series of six to nine laser hair removal treatments spaced several weeks apart to achieve your ultimate results.
3. Is Laser Hair Removal Painful?
Before your treatment begins, one of our expert aestheticians will apply a topical anesthetic to your treatment area. Because of this, most of our patients report little to no discomfort throughout their laser hair removal treatments. Patients who do experience mild discomfort throughout their treatments liken the feeling of the laser to the feeling of a rubber band being snapped against the skin.
4. When Will I See the Results of My Laser Hair Removal Treatments?
Many of our patients will start to see some results of their laser hair removal after just one to two weeks, however, we typically recommend patients wait six to eight weeks following their final treatment to see their ultimate results.
